About Advanced Manual Physical Therapy

At Advanced Manual Physical Therapy, we’re breaking free from the traditional healthcare model. Rather than focusing on patient volume, we insist on providing an uncompromised and specialized level of care to each patient.

We take each client through a series of movement analysis screens, as well as specialized testing, to identify the cause of injury or decreased performance. We then develop a customized treatment plan to help each client achieve their goals.

Standard treatments last an hour. In a typical session at AMPT, we focus on hands-on treatment followed by retraining movement patterns. Our hands-on treatment incorporates joint and soft tissue mobilizations, as well as neuromuscular re-education. With this specialized treatment style, we treat each patient holistically, rather than focusing on an individual body part or injury.

Our Insurance Policy

It is our desire and goal to provide the highest quality of care to all of our patients. Diminishing reimbursement rates from insurance companies have forced many insurance-based clinics to emphasize quantity over quality. At Advanced Manual Physical Therapy, we refuse to be limited by this structure which may compromise our patients’ ability to reach their goals. As a result, we choose not to contract with insurance companies. This allows us to spend more time with each patient and provide consistent high-quality treatment with better outcomes.

Depending on your insurance plan, you may be able to request out-of-network reimbursement from your insurance company. Please contact us at info@advancedmanualpt.com or 781-790-8514 for more information. We will do our best to help you navigate the tricky waters of the insurance industry, and fully explain the benefits of seeing an out-of-network provider.
